Mr. Renaud Meyer

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP),
Thailand

Mr. Renaud Meyer, a French national, has been appointed as UNDP Resident

Representative for Thailand.

Prior to this appointment, Renaud was the UNDP Country Director in Nepal since

2015. He also served as Senior Deputy Country Director in UNDP Afghanistan from
2012 to 2014, Country Director in UNDP Philippines from 2008 to 2012, Deputy
Country Director in UNDP China from 2004 to 2008, Special Assistant in the

Executive Office in UNDP Headquarters from 2002 to 2004 and Special Assistant in
the then Bureau for Development Policies in UNDP Headquarters from 2000 to 2002.

Renaud started his career in UNDP as JPO in UNDP Lebanon from 1998 to 2000.

Renaud holds a Diplôme d’Etudes Supeérieures Spécialisées in International
Relations and Development from the University of Strasbourg, France. He also
graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Strasbourg, France.

He speaks French, English and Spanish.
