4.2 Academic Seminar

The objective is to serve as a forum for exchanging opinions and brainstorming

about the virtues of leaders, and governance principles among the executives from the
state and private sectors, academic experts, qualified experts, representatives of
government independent organizations, state agencies, local administrative organizations,

academic institutions, private organizations, public organizations, the media, and the
general public.

The academic seminar will consist of panel discussions and group discussions:

1) Panel Discussions are forums for qualified experts to make presentations
about aspects of the congress topic.

- The panel discussion among international representatives will be an
exchange of thoughts and experiences on the topic of Dharmarãjã
from a comparative perspective informed by international experience.

- The panel discussion among Thai academics and qualified experts
will be an exchange of perspectives and experiences on the issues

significant to Thailand.

2) Group discussions will feature presentation of articles and research
findings. There will be five group discussions, covering the following
topics

Group 1 The Concepts of Dharmarãjã and Philosopher King: the Dissimilar
Context

Group 2 The Bloodless Transition to Democratic Government
Group 3 The Establishment of a Democratic Foundation
Group 4 Good Governance in the Thai Public Service System: a Global

Standardized Human Resource Management System
Group 5 The Establishment of a Social Foundation

4.3 Exhibition

The objective of the exhibition is to disseminate information and knowledge
about Dharmarãjã in conjunction with ally networks, King Prajadhipok Institute students,

and various domestic and international organizations.
