the two philosophies believe that all turbulence will disappear if people act in
accordance with their caste (Hindu philosophy), or if they act righteously according to
the status of their position (Confucius philosophy). However, the two philosophies
have different views towards the resolution of conflicts in obligations and rules. That
is, Confucius philosophy perceives that family is the close relation which deserves the
utmost attention (one must pay attention to the small unit before considering about
the big unit). Meanwhile, according to Mahabharata, a family, which is a small unit,
can exist only when the state is strong and stable (the big unit must be considered
before the small unit).
