The 2017 Constitution has many sections concerning reconciliation that
aim to make peace and harmony in the country and create a
mechanism to resolve conflict with peace. Therefore, it is interesting to
seek the answers to whether and how laws, regulations, mechanical
structures, and the political situation that have been designed in this
constitution can bring about harmony in Thailand.

Issues for group discussion

1. Does constitutional law have a role in achieving reconciliation
in Thai society? How? What conflict resolution mechanisms in
this constitution foster reconciliation?
