standardized test; and (8)   unproportionate numbers of teachers and students resulting in
              insufficient budget subsidized by the government affecting welfare of children in schools such

              as lunch and leading to educational inequality.

                      This research project to tackle inequality through local government organizations such
              as Sakon Nakhon Municipality, Yala City Municipality, and Narathiwat Municipality, has been

              supporting children in poverty and teachers who work with underprivileged children with
              scholarship and educational material to take care of those in need directly.


                      Third,  the  project  and  plan  to  enhance  educational  equality  through  local
              administrative organizations involves 11 local government organizations and 12 projects of
              education equality run by the involved local government organizations and categorized into

              5 groups.

                      1) 4 projects for education fund are:

                        (1) Nutrition Fund Project for Reduction of Educational Inequality in Na Khom Sub-

              district, Na Khom Subdistrict Administrative Organization; (2) Cooperation Project for Children’s
              Educational Opportunities in Bang Kadi Subdistrict, Bangkadi Municipality; (3) Subsistence Fund

              Project  for  Children  at  Ban  Khao  Tum  School,  to  promote  educational  equality  in  the
              educational service area of Pattani Provincial Administrative Organization; and (4) Fund Raising

              Network Project for Education of Children in Poverty at Ban Tabing Tingee School, Pattani
              Provincial Administrative Organization.


                      2) 3 projects related to education for children with special needs and underprivileged
              children are:

                        (1) Thai Music Therapy Project for Children with ADHD, Khao Sam Yot Municipality;

              (2) Education Network for Children with Special Needs in Formal and Non-formal Education,
              Sakon Nakhon Municipality; and (3) Life Quality Development Project for Underprivileged

              Children Outside the Education System in Narathiwat Municipality, Narathiwat Municipality.

                      3) 1 project for children’s access to education is:

                        “Reducing Educational Inequality Project”, with online classes and a tablet service

              for students to borrow for better educational opportunities in Yala City Municipality.

                      4) 3 projects related to the development of teacher’s competency are:

                        (1) Development Project for Early Childhood Experience Model under the Concept

              by  Reggio  Emilia,  in  the  schools  under  the  Lamphun  Municipality  to  reduce  social  and
              educational  inequality,  Lamphun  City  Municipality;  ( 2 )   Study  Project  for  Learning  and
